Happiness@Work 2018 is a conference with a simple goal:
To help leaders build companies where people will thrive and business will grow.
Program of the event is divided into three days:
Wednesday 14.11. there will be a special "CEO Workshop".
Thursday, November 15, is the main conference day and Happiness Expo.
Friday November 16th will be the workshop day.
The whole conference will be simultaneously translated between czech and english.
To help leaders build companies where people will thrive and business will grow.

Speakers
Sonja Lyubomirsky
Sonja Lyubomirsky, Ph.D. (AB, summa cum laude, Harvard; PhD, Stanford) is Professor and Vice Chair of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside and author of The How of Happiness and The Myths of Happiness, translated in 23 and 16 countries, respectively. Lyubomirsky’s teaching and mentoring of students have been recognized with the Distinguished Research Lecturer Award, Faculty of the Year (twice) and Faculty Mentor of the Year Awards. Her research – on the possibility of lastingly increasing happiness — has been recipient of many honors, including the Templeton Positive Psychology Prize, a Psychology & Philosophy grant, and a Science of Generosity grant. Lyubomirsky lives in Santa Monica, California, with her family.

Jiří Halousek
Jiří is an energetic person. Together with his team, he enjoys building IReSoft as a company that is worth working for.
He always says we can't split our work-life from our personal-life. And that's why he prefers to build a company as a lifestyle, rather than just a regular employment. He want's to let people be part of the decisions about future direction. For a long time now, he doesn't think he is the smartest guy in the company :). |

Alex is the founder of Woohoo inc. and one of the world's leading experts on happiness at work. He has done keynotes and workshops in over 50 countries for clients like IBM, LEGO, IKEA, Microsoft and many others.
Alex is also the author of 4 books including the international bestseller Happy Hour is 9 to 5. His last book is Leading With Happiness. |
Monika Hilm
Monika, a Swedish citizen, has spent her entire career in the hospitality industry. During her last assignment, she had the opportunity to test her theories on well-being of employees in the hospitality industry. The results were so rewarding that it gave her the courage to share her experiences through her lectures. She has also published a book "Put your people first and the rest will follow".
Monika is an inspiring and motivated person when it comes to evoking her passions: the happiness of employees and hotels! Her personal goal is to combine her dreams of working while being a good mother present for her children. |
Margit Slimáková
Margit is currently the prominent Czech nutrition and prevention expert. Founder of the 1st Czech think tank Globopol dedicated to health prevention topics.
She popularized "Healthy Plate" in the Czech Republic, which quickly replaces the obsolete nutritional pyramid. She has studied pharmacy, dietetics in the USA and numerous certified courses. She regularly publishes and lectures, promotes healthy nutrition in schools. |
Josef Dvořáček
Josef is co-owner and director of SONNENTOR. Company which is an important producer of herbs, teas and spices from ecological agriculture.
There is a lot of inspiration from sustainability and social responsibility in SONNENTOR. If you visit their tourist project Herbs heaven in Čejkovice, south Moravia, you will feel their original company culture. With his coworkers they picked a company motto: Here grows the joy, to express how they feel about their company. To show their mission is to bring excitement from herbs, teas, spices and the life as such. |
Leoš Jiřele
Leoš started his career as a professional volleyball player. Later he joined their family business - co-operative society SOLEA which connect production with handicapped people. He went through all kinds of position and later took leadership role in the business. Especially in last 10 years he has chosen a path of finding balance between freedom and responsibility.

Radka Maňáková
Together with her colleagues, she founded a company Team Test. Their motto is "tested on people", so they are testing everything they think is meaningful in this world. Freedom, play, unconcerned sharing, and going beyond the boundaries of what we know so far.
Radka was once the champion of Czechoslovakia in triathlon, her first job was training of military professionals in surviving and self-defense. Which completely (il)logically led to a topic that she has lived for the most in recent years: Male and Female principle in cooperation. She is co-author of "Adam and Eve at Work". |
Michal Šrajer
Ten years ago, Michal co-founded studio Inmite (Czech leader in smartphone apps development) together with his two friends. He named himself “Chief Happiness Officer” at that time with a mission to discover ways how to bring happiness to work.
Four years ago, Inmite became part of global security company Avast through acquisition. And Michal became CHO of a much bigger company. After a year of travelling and visiting truly human companies around the world, he is now back in the Czech Republic. His mission is to help as many people as possible to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful time at work. To help gain this perspective as many people as possible, including future generations he is co-organising international Happiness@Work conference, joined Brain&Breakfast project and is helping companies on the path towards happiness at work. |
